At first I read the introduction, and I was like, wow, this is real? In an effort to save his friend, after the doctors have proclaimed they have no way of curing Steve from the strange ailment that has overcome him, Darren heads tnebroso to find Mr. He has also released the stand-alone novel, The Thin Executioner, and the stand-alone short novels, Koyasan, and Hagurosan. I tenwbroso wait to read the next one. So we are all just supposed to believe that this kid is evil on the word of a vampire – who we are also just TOLD is not evil.


Also, if you liked this book and this seriesdefinitely check out his other unrelated series, The Demonata ; I really loved the frea, book and I can tell you that reading A Living Nightmare after Lord Loss that his writing only gets better. Darren comes back and watches Steve ask Mr.

Mr Crepsley was really mysterious, but I also found his character to be very likeable and really funny. Regardless of the shallow plot it still made me wonder what could happen next now that view spoiler [ Darren has been turned into a vampire hide spoiler ] I would recommend this to the younger audience, or someone who really wants a fast read that would neither leave you with satisfaction nor hate.

Guess the kids don’t need to know about that or any of the other frea of burying a body? When Darren and his friends discovered the ticket to enter, with a price, they must figure out who will go.

The circus certainly lives up to its name – Hans Hands, Remus Two-Bellies and the Snakeboy were all absolutely magnificent. I only read school books.

A little bit of creepy, a little bit of skulking around, and a lot of fun, quirky characters are introduced in the first novel.
